Wow! Check out this amazing new product called 'The Garbage Watch'. Whoever said that re-cycling can't be fun is very misguided indeed. At 1st11 we love what the people at Vollerbak are doing with amazing creativity and pushing to design the clothes of the future!

50 million tonnes of electronic waste is generated each year, even though many discarded devices contain numerous sought after and precious metals such as nickel, cobalt, aluminium, sliver, and aluminium. According to the good people at Garbage Watch, thery say 7% of the world's gold is hidden away in e-waste such as old microchips and motherboards from old laptops and desktops. 

We think that the design and creativity oozing from the Garbage Watch makes this one of our hottest products to look out for in 2020. It oozes retro, tech cool and I for one can't wait to purchase one when they are released.

These watches will be made up entriley from components coming from old smartphones, motehrboards and a variety of other discarded items.

We think this is a fantastic initiative, taking re-cycling and product design to a whole new level of fun when it comes to timepieces.
