These are the most popular Apex Legends characters
Are you an Apex Legends player? You might have spotted which characters are very popular by simply playing the game. However, Respawn Entertainment thought it was a nice idea to have players vote on what they thought was the most popular Apex Legends character. Plus, it revealed which ones actually are the most picked fighters.
Apex Legends is a battle royale shooter. You can play it for free, you play it online and it is all in first person perspective. The game can be played with up to 20 squads of three people or 30 duo’s. The best thing about Apex Legends is that it works cross platform, so PlayStation 4 gamers can play together with Xbox One gamers. The idea behind the game is -as with all battle royales- to defeat all others. In Apex Legends the island gets smaller and smaller over time, so you cannot stay hidden forever. Apex Legends is not a game on its own: it is based on the universe of Titanfall.
At the beginning of the game you can choose which character you’d like to be. That differs per person and it is fun to see the choices people make and how well they know how their character works. Respawn wanted to let people know what the top five is. Unfortunately there was no word on what people thought was the top five, but Respawn did reveal which ones are the actual stars:

2. Bloodhound
3. Horizon
4. Octane
5. Lifeline
Wraith has been the most popular for a while now, back in May the list was as follows:
Wraith: 31.95%
Pathfinder: 10.56%
Lifeline: 8.73%
Caustic: 7.44%
Bangalore: 7.22%
As you can see the percentage for Wraith was extremely high and though Bloodhound, Octane and Horizon have become more popular now, Wraith is still going strong in the first place. Usually new characters are popular for a while, but when everybody tried the new thing they often go back to that character they know well and they love so much: in this case it appears Wraith is not easy to push off the throne.
Apex Legends is a wildly popular game: there are approximately 70 million players worldwide. A crazy amount, but that is only a good thing: not only is Apex Legends free to play, so everyone can enjoy, but it is very big as an esports title as well. Plus, it is perfect for streaming.
