Mario Kart Live looks like AR dream come true
Mario Kart Live is breaking the fourth wall
Bringing Mario Kart into your living room looks like its going to be a true highlight of 2020I have always been a huge fan of Mario Kart, since all the way back when I first picket up the game and played it on the Super Nintendo back in the late 1990's. The pinnacle of the series is undoudadley when the game was re-imagined in 3D and released on the Nintendo 64.
Now on the Nintendo Switch, this iteration of the franchise is arguabley one of the best games of its generation. What we are getting at here is that Nintendo have the best quiality contol and development studios in the business. When Nintendo put its name to something, it is usually because they belive in something, their approach to games are innovative and there is a core focus on enjoyment, fun and gameplay rather than brawn, graphics and high end graphical prowess.
In 2020, we are all staying at home due to unfortunate events of the global pandemic. Mario Kart Live looks like an amazing remedy to curing boredom with friends and family in the home. Now your living room, kitchen, bedroom, hallway all can become Mario Kart tracks.
Through the magic of AR, innovative remote controlled cars and the Nintendo Switch the game blurs the lines between the virtual world and the real one. We can't wait to get our hands on this and try it out. For added fun, you can add your pet cat or dog to chase the karts and add a sense of danger!
The thought of Mario Vs Luigi having a full on Mario Kart race in my kitchen is just too cool!
Mario Kart Live comes is released on October 16th
The pack comes with one remote control car and four gates and two position arrowsThis is surely the best way to beat boredom this winter, I think Nintendo could be onto something transformative here. Imagine all the potential to fully integrate classic games into your home, they have a rich history. You could have a real life Duck Hunt with AR in your house or create a Super Mario level on you dining room table! We can't wait to get our hands on one and build fun challenges with it here on 1st11fun.com
